Ciência social e comportamental em movimento
um ensaio sobre o uso do método móvel

O presente ensaio apresenta aspectos relativos ao uso de métodos móveis para avaliar a relação pessoa-ambiente, que extrapolam a análise estática ou estrutural desta relação. Para tanto, são apresentados procedimentos que capturam a riqueza de informações relatadas pelos indivíduos enquanto passam por diferentes ambientes onde relações pessoa-ambiente ocorrem. O método móvel permite compreender o movimento que as pessoas fazem em suas atividades cotidianas, conjugando dois procedimentos: (a) a observação do comportamento e das características presentes no ambiente onde o indivíduo se comporta e (b) a entrevista acerca das percepções do(a) participante frente aos estímulos presentes no ambiente. Apontando vantagens e desvantagens, apresentamos duas tipologias de entrevistas caminhadas: (a) aquelas onde o(a) participante tem familiaridade com a área e ele(a) próprio(a) determina a rota e (b) aqueles onde o(a) entrevistador(a) tem familiaridade com a área, sendo o passeio mais estruturado e projetado para suscitar respostas a lugares ou objetos específicos e predeterminados.
